This is good advice for pretty much any aspect of life, but I’ll apply it to fitness today. You’re going to have a hard time running a marathon if you’ve never run around the block. As much as you may want to go from couch potato to twice-a-day gym rat from one moment to the next, you have to be realistic about where you’re currently at.
